Humans vs AI .IO is a roguelite space shooter that runs in your browser. No download, no account. ChatGPT took your job. Now take it back. Fly a small ship through waves of AI drones, beat a boss every few waves, and spend the gold you collect on upgrades. Then it loops, a bit harder. 9 AI bosses: each one parodies a real AI product, with its own attacks, drones and tricks. Mini-bosses in between test your build. Computer-themed weapons: Ctrl Alt Delete fires a key-cap bullet that wipes enemy shots, Portable Firewall blocks enemy fire while your shots pass through, Spam Filter deletes enemy shots. Plus Recursion, Fork, Buckshot and more. 2-player co-op: start a game, share the link and fight the bosses together. Leaderboard: every run is scored, so you can see how far you get and come back with a better build. Move with WASD, the arrow keys or the mouse. Desktop browser only for now; phones are coming soon. So most of the time you find people by sound instead. Hearing is omnidirectional and walls only muffle it, which means you usually know someone is there before you know where. Everything you carry is priced in visibility. A flare lights the room and lights you in it. A shield soaks damage and glows while it does. Firing pins your exact position.
