Ratings may include optional text feedback. ## Pro Plan Subscription Pro plan unlocks a verified badge on all your listings, GIF screenshot uploads and priority placement in Discover right after promoted projects. ## Discover Feature [Discover](https://votekicker.com/discover) presents projects one at a time. On mobile, Discover uses a swipe-style interface. On desktop, it uses a two-column layout with Vote and Skip buttons. Projects are served in the following order: 1. Promoted projects 2. Pro plan projects 3. Regular projects Each displayed project records an impression. Users can vote or skip a project and will not see that project again in future discovery sessions. The Vote button casts a real vote. A successful vote increments the project's vote count, affects rankings, and may trigger configured postback webhooks. Skips are recorded anonymously as a discovery preference and do not affect a project's vote count or ranking. Projects that the user has already voted for within the 24-hour cooldown window are filtered out of discovery. ## Season System Projects compete in recurring seasons. Each season has its own leaderboard and distributes permanent awards to the top three projects. The season schedule resets quarterly on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 at midnight UTC. When a season ends, the results are archived and a new season starts automatically. ### Season Ranking and Scoring - Rankings are determined by vote points, which reflect both raw vote count and any active boost bonuses from awards and multipliers (Rocket Launcher). - At the end of each season, the vote count, vote points, and spark for every project are reset to zero, clearing the leaderboard for the next cycle. ### Season Awards - Golden Leaf: awarded to the 1st-ranked project; grants +5 permanent points. - Silver Leaf: awarded to the 2nd-ranked project; grants +3 permanent points. - Bronze Leaf: awarded to the 3rd-ranked project; grants +1 permanent point. - Awards are cumulative and permanent; a project can collect multiple leaves across seasons. The permanent bonus points carry forward into future seasons and are added back to the project's vote points after each reset. - The top 10 projects at the end of a season also receive a free 24-hour Rocket Launcher boost at the start of the next season. ### Season Results - Project owners receive a notification summarizing their project's final rank, any award received and whether it earned a free boost. ## Hall of Kickers Feature The Hall of Kickers is a monthly calendar page (`/hall-of-kickers/:YYYY-MM`) that showcases the top projects for each completed day. It serves as a historical leaderboard and hall of fame for daily winners. ### How daily winners are determined - A scheduled background calculation runs daily at midnight UTC (`0 0 0 * * *`) to calculate the previous day's rankings. - Rankings are based on vote points accumulated during that day: a regular vote counts as 1 point and a boosted vote counts as 2 points. ### Calendar Display - The page renders a standard month calendar grid (Sunday-start) with previous/next month padding to fill complete weeks. - Each cell lists the winning projects for that day, showing the project avatar, title, and a verified badge if the owner has a Pro subscription. - Today's results are intentionally excluded; only completed days appear in the calendar. - Users can navigate between months using previous/next arrows. - Each project displayed links to the project's detail page. ### Tracking - Loading the Hall of Kickers page records impression stats with surface 'Hall of Kickers' for every displayed project and increments each project's impressions counter. ## Data Formats - Project pages are available as HTML with embedded Schema.org JSON-LD, including SoftwareApplication, BreadcrumbList, WebSite, ItemList, and Organization structured data. - [Public sitemap](https://votekicker.com/sitemap.xml) - Sitemap containing publicly discoverable URLs. - [LLMs summary](https://votekicker.com/llms.txt) - Structured overview of Votekicker and its features. - [Full project catalog](https://votekicker.com/llms-full.txt) - Complete catalog of publicly listed projects, including titles, descriptions, URLs, categories, platforms, and AI labels. ## Contact For questions or partnership inquiries, please use the [contact page](https://votekicker.com/contact).
