Ossify

"You don't die in Ossify - you ossify: sealed inside a world you built one move at a time." It's the old Snake game we all grew up playing on the Nokia phone back in the day, but with one rule flipped. Your tail doesn't follow you, but it turns to stone where you leave it and never goes away. So you're not dodging yourself, you're dodging everywhere you havve been, until the whole board is your own history. Every few seconds it's the same call: stay long for points, or shed to survive. That decision is the whole game. A new board every day, the same for everyone, so scores actually compare. Free, no ads, no accounts. Only anonymous gameplay stats, nothing that identifies you. Made solo and is my first finished project.
