Eyesight Simulator
Type your prescription, see your blurry world

Eyesight Simulator turns the numbers on a glasses prescription into a picture. Enter SPH, CYL and AXIS for each eye, choose a scene (a day or night street, a phone at reading distance, a computer screen, an eye chart, your own photo or your camera) and compare the view with and without glasses, split or side by side. Below the picture it explains the numbers in plain words: how far you can see clearly, the spherical equivalent and what the astigmatism axis does. The blur comes from a published optics model, not a filter. Everything runs in the browser with WebGL; photos and camera frames never leave the device. It is a simulation for learning, not an eye test.
