Blue Chip Prospect

Blue Chip Prospect is a Hockey RPG where you create a 16-year-old prospect, pick your position and archetype, and guide them through an entire professional career until they hang up the skates. The game features 296 real teams across 12 leagues (including the NHL, AHL, CHL, USHL, NCAA, and European leagues like the SHL and Liiga). I tried to model real contract logic, so you'll navigate Entry-Level Contracts, Restricted Free Agency (with binding arbitration and offer sheets), UFA negotiations, trade demands, waivers, and the 9-game junior rule. Teams will even adjust their contract offers based on whether they are a Cup contender or a rebuilder. You'll also need to handle press conferences by reading the room, manage relationships with your coach and the media, spend your contract money on private trainers, and grow your Fan Idolatry from a total unknown to a generational icon. You aren't just clicking "Sim." High-leverage moments trigger skill-based minigames tailored to your position (like tipping pucks in front of the net, taking a VO2 Max test, or testing your goalie reflexes at the Draft Combine). Every career ends with a detailed Hall of Fame recap, logging all your stats, international medals, and a final "Career Score" based on your legacy, so you can keep track of your legendary careers!
