Blot

Rocket Booster

BLOT is a shared canvas game, not a personal one. Everyone who opens the page lands on the same sheet of paper, and every square of ink anyone drops is visible to everyone else in real time. You start with one blot. It spreads on its own over about an hour, slowly turning into ground that's actually yours to defend. Leave it alone too long, though, and it dries out and flakes off for good! It's not a race to cover the most space fast. It's more like tending a garden that other people can also walk through. You name your blot, pick where it drops (or let it land wherever), and set a doctrine that shapes how it behaves, with points you can reassign once a day. Run into someone else's ink and you've got allies and wars, so the sheet turns into something closer to a living map of everyone's little territories pushing against each other. There's also a way to reopen your blot from a different device using a secret phrase. It never leaves your device and only a hash gets saved, so there's no recovery option if you lose it. Bit unforgiving, but it keeps things honest. Still actively being built. The core loop of dropping ink, spreading, defending, and losing ground if you neglect it all works right now, but I'm still working out things like how wars resolve, what doctrine options actually do long term, and whether there should be some kind of history or replay of the sheet over time. Play it now if you're curious, it's live. And if anything feels unbalanced or you've got ideas for where it should go, I'm open to hearing them!
