optimAIzr
optimaizr is a local-first LLM usage optimizer that analyzes how you use AI, detects waste patterns, and identifies opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
It looks at your real LLM usage and finds things like oversized inputs, repeated or unnecessary calls, error loops, and requests using a more expensive model than needed. Instead of just showing you what you spent, optimaizr explains why you’re spending it and gives actionable recommendations, such as switching to a cheaper model, reducing context, or eliminating unnecessary calls.
You can audit your usage, investigate individual patterns, simulate potential savings, verify recommendations, and apply supported optimizations directly from the CLI. With live recommendations, optimaizr can also monitor your LLM usage as you work and surface optimization opportunities in real time.
The core analysis runs locally, so your usage history doesn’t need to be uploaded to a remote dashboard just to understand where your AI spend is going.
In short: optimaizr helps you understand your LLM usage, find what’s wasting money, and turn those findings into concrete optimizations.
